It happened to me.

Imagine.
Crossing the Atlantic with Air France and after 11 hours you are in the New World. Shall I be more precise, as one of my friends tends to say? Colombia is the place. More precise? Bogotá... mostly clouded, even rainy... now since days mostly sunny, dry. The fields on the road to Sopó are yellowish when yesterday I visited together with Daniel Lopez (Alumni 2002) & GF the unique only dairy supermarket from 'Alpina', a dairy producing company with a remarkable sustainability policy (http://corporativo.alpina.com/contenido/sustainability/introduction-82).

As continuing backwards, the last couple of days I took a slow down attitude during the day as the evening program(s) were rather stuffed. Yesterday evening Ana, Carolina and me did the warming up for the real Carnaval experience in Barranquilla next week. A very enjoyable Carlos Vives & co and crazy carnival scenes amid a mix of a friendly young and old(er) audience ... nothing better to end your Saturday.

One evening before we had what you could call the UNESSCO-IHE Alumni diner but what was rather Guy's Bogota's friends from 10 years time diner. Try to imagine how it feels to be surrounded by a bunch of people you have missed during, sometimes, long years. Was good to see the generations getting on well together. Good food, nice people, stories and laughs...

I'm fostered at  Ana Carola Sossa Méndez & Sergio Nauffal Monsalve house and pampered by them and by my two hermanitas Ana & Carolina from the 'Pura Vida' travel agency.
The Oro Museum, stunning, impressive, fantastic, incredibly stupendous, visited with Ana Carola & Carolina.

Just a Wednesday with Ana, visiting Monserrate, Simon Bolivar's House, lunch, Botero Museum... Ana is right, Botero's sculptures are much more interesting than his paintings... but impressive to see all those Boteros. In the museum next door the collection and the building of Collection de Arte Banco de la República Bogota another amazing art collection of mainly Colombian artists and the building well I have seen a part that would be fantastic to house the Judith Nems  'Lost Steps' exhibition.

Dinner at Andres D.C with Ana Carola, Carolina & Sergio. As so many before us... got my ribbon... "QUE TE VAYA BONITO'. I feel like a Colombian.

First Tuesday steps into Town... Who says Napoli is noisy? Walking, lunch... o.m.g. it's too much... but the juices are from another planet.
Museum of Modern Art... Amazing building for the time it was build... spaces for choreographers and dancers to dream of.
Dinner with a very happy Erica her husband Andrés and Carolina.
End of day one.

Today is day six. Was writing this while waiting to have lunch with Ana and family.
This is how Sunday's should be....
Up to week two... Colombia es passión!
